I think we got used to the cost of things in terms of money; here is the thing; how do you compare the MERITS of a job that can pay you more than your current one but will not make you feel as satisfied? How do you measure fulfillment? If fulfillment is your ultimate goal in life, then why shouldn’t we use it to make important decisions?

As said, helping your neighbor and your community is the fulfillment that cannot make you a profit at the end of the month but will make you a humanitarian with the decision to contribute to the local crises and thus contribute to the regional economic transition. Sometimes you do not need money💵 to assist someone, 😋, just finding the ways and mechanisms/protocols to solve the problems they are facing.
Let’s go back to “opportunist cost” – economists have come up with a useful concept of identifying the limitations of measuring everything in terms of money. You can increase your happiness by going on a hiking vacation with your family or paying school fees for three orphans in your area than buying that expensive vehicle. #fullmment and #happiness.
