Materialism- the right stuff

Nowadays people are often judged not by whether they are worthwhile human beings but by whether they have the right clothes, the right car, and all the other “right stuff”. The respect people get nowadays is determined by the “right stuff” they have?/why so?

The yardstick is not merely having enough but having more, measured against those around us in real life and pseudo-realities of the prominent screen and other media.

It is easy to think that many happy celebrities and “wealthy “people on the bigger screen are anything but happy. Many goods today are called positional which means they can be enjoyed if others do not have them; is this what makes us wealthy and happy? Typical fashion, cars, etc.

Do you have the “right stuff” or wish for one? How can you get the right stuff,”;?do you enjoy ice cream when your friend or neighbor can not afford it? Do you believe in building your foundation? I also agree is a stable process that will lead to a very settled and long-term asset or investment .

Having the right stuff is cool with positional goods making us outstanding and inquisitive in our community. The best is to work on building that wealthy and sustainable products.
